USB Ethernet Fix for TV

A wired connection for your Android TV

Some TVs stopped working with USB Ethernet adapters after an update (for example Philips TVs on Android TV 14). This app drives the adapter itself, so the TV gets a fast cable connection again. No root needed.

Get started

  1. Plug in the adapter and the network cable.
A USB Ethernet adapter in the TV's USB port, the cable to your router.
  2. Open the app and press OK on the USB prompt.
The TV asks whether the app may use the adapter. More about USB access
  3. Turn on auto-connect after restart.
So the TV reconnects by itself every time it starts. What it does

That's it. The app shows Connected over cable with your cable speed and the TV's address.
